Great shower experience to start the day.
The walls are very thin, making it hard to sleep due to noise.

the Continental breakfast was not good .Coffee from a vending machine, also canned meats and fruit cocktail from can, But location was perfect close to everything. For the price I would stay there again.I went out for breakfast plenty of places to go eat.

The bar served lots of meals for breakfast. The hotel was centrally situated right by all other attractions, all the relevant spots in the City Center and both train station and old historic center.

Comfortable and in a good area.
Have stayed there before and the staff was polite and helpful, his time the desk staff in the afternoon was rude and snippy. We had ordred a nice large room from you and were fiven a room the size of a closet. When I said that was not what I had ordered they told me that they had no info from you about the room - basically tried to brush us off. Had to get snippy myself before we were given a decent room. We will not return to the Donatello.

Comfortable common areas made unwinding after days of exploring easy. The location's proximity to an array of eateries created deliciously easy dining options just a short stroll from the entrance.
The rooms could use some serious soundproofing-thin walls let in way more noise than I'd prefer. The breakfast setup seemed a bit unorganized, as the limited options could get crowded quickly, leaving you feeling rushed. While the decor has its charm, it also leans toward the outdated side, and a few more modern touches wouldn't hurt. Plus, the bathroom felt cramped and could do with better drainage, made for a few frustrating moments.

The only positive thing was the awsome city where Hotel is placed.
Air conditioning cannot be managed from your room. Each time you want to modify temp or fun speed you need to ask for at reception.

The location was perfect, just walking distance from all the major sights, and we loved our spacious triple room, which accommodated our large family comfortably.
My kids wished for a more varied breakfast selection.

the hotel is really worth the money. on our trip we were to rome, milano, venice and changed few hotels that were more expensive than this one and surprisingly donatello was the best of all of them! not because we payed less, but simply because it was really the nicest one. the hotel is very pretty, if you are arriving with the car it's just outside that "zona limitato" area so you can avoid it and it's really close to everything. anyway florence is a small city so it's a waste of money to take hotel in the center. i can really tell that this was the best part of our whole trip.
